Before I even begin telling you about this AMAZING cake, I have to tell you about the reception location. This couple had their reception at Spring Haven in Springville. I could never convey in my words how truly beautiful this place was. I could have stayed there all day. It was breath taking. I also want to say a HUGE thank you to the family that was involved. We were there for awhile and got to talk to quite a few family members who were all so wonderful and friendly.

Love, love, love. This damask pattern matched the wedding so perfectly. I was so happy to make this addition to the wedding that fit so well. Gosh, I love this cake. (It might be my new favorite...)

It's funny how when we started talking about this cake it was COMPLETELY different than our final design. In fact, we probably changed our minds at least 3 times. But don't you love the final result?? She was a little worried that hearts were too cliche for a wedding, but I think it worked great.

Isn't she so sweet?? I adored making this cake. Every once in awhile a cake comes a long that is hard to part with, and this was one of those cakes.

I was so happy that the client made sure I knew how much the little girl and he entire family loved this cake, because I did too.

I am so in love with how cute this cake turned out. It was for a 4 year old little boy's birthday. He loves going to the zoo, so we incorporated his favorite zoo animals into his birthday cake.

This wedding was at one of my favorite venues. Le Jardin in Sandy, Utah. I love doing weddings there, it's so calming and beautiful.

This was a couple that I had the pleasure of meeting at the last bridal fair I did. I love that they wanted a very simple crisp and clean wedding cake. We spruced up the ribbon a bit by a thick pretty purple ribbon and 3 tiny silver ribbons. They left it flower free and added this classic old fashioned bride and groom topper. Love it..

I loved the brides idea for crisscrossing the ribbon on this cake. The addition of layered ribbon to this twisted cakes real adds another depth to it.

This cake was so much fun to make! Such a pretty girly cake for such a pretty girl. The cake flavor was a confetti cake with purple and pink sprinkles. All pink all the time!

Chocolate Fall Wedding Cake

I know I may have said this before but I am so in LOVE with this chocolate fondant. Not only does it smell and taste just like a tootsie roll but it lends an extreme richness to the appearance of a cake.

I also made 150 fall leaf sugar cookies for favors for this wedding and didn't take A SINGLE PICTURE OF THEM!!! I couldn't believe it. They were so beautiful.

White and Black Cake

Truthfully, sometimes I go into a design not expecting to like it and end up LOVING it!

That sums up this cake for me. Toying with different ideas I decided on a spin on the champagne bubbles that are so popular right now in cakes. Accenting this white pealized cake is bubbles in varying sizes. My thought to pearlize the cake paid off with the florist showed up with flowers that also had a little extra glitz.

The reception location was also my new FAVORITE! Noah's is an amazing venue. It was so perfect and so personal feeling. I hope I will be able to do future weddings there.

Star Wars Birthday Cake

This Star Wars cake was a short notice order for a little boys birthday party. So all the figurines are plastic and part of his gift! I think it turned out really fun and he loved it!

With the left over cake I enlisted my husbands help and came up with Death Star Cake Pops!

(Even though they look more like disco balls! Thank goodness for little boy's imaginations)

I think she got all three.

I love her addition of the 2" tier on the bottom. It adds a neat touch.

This might be my favorite cake of ALL TIME!

It was so much fun to make and it drew so much attention.

The middle layer is covered in silver dragees that are completely eddible.

This cake would also be amazing in all white fondant with pearls on the middle layer.

There are a lot of options for colors of sugar pearls.

Safe to say this may be my favorite cake this season. I am so happy with how it turned out. The reception was decorated so amazing and the cake fit right in. This picture does not do justice to the purple flowers and lillies put around the cake.

The cake is a vanilla confetti cake made with green and purple sprinkles.

Lemon & Lime Wedding Cake

What a beautiful reception this was. The colors of the wedding were lime green, yellow and red. While I was unsure how it would all work together, it ended up so pretty.

This hexagon 3 tier cake was chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and a confetti cake for the top with cream cheese frosting.
Decorated with fresh lemons, limes and greenery. All sitting atop my floating glass stand.

I really enjoyed making this cake. The pearls are slowly becoming my favorite. Even if they are time consuming! :)

This bride wanted a simple cake with no flowers or toppers. She loved it and that made me love it even more.

The cake was a white confetti cake with pink and black confetti. It was so pretty inside.

White Pearl Wedding Cake

This wedding cake has been my favorite so far.

It was covered in white fondant and white sugar pearls.

The top 3 layers are faux.

The bottom layer is red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.

I love the picture of the little girl sneaking one of the pearls off the cake, so I had to include it. :)

This cake has been my favorite birthday cake to date! :)

The turtle is a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. Covered in fondant. The turtle head, hat, feet and tail are all fondant.

This cake was also accompanied by a smash cake for the 1 year old boy.

I named the turtle Wilbur while I was constructing him...

This brown and blue wedding cake was a blast to make. I really enjoyed it. Brown and baby blue and pink and brown are very popular right now. The top two layers are faux layers. The bottom is a chocolate fudge with a chocolate filling.
